WalMart Oxford, NC lost me as customer.

I have to tell you about the Wal-Mart in Oxford, NC. I was a loyal customer of that store and I challenge the corporate office to run my Credit Card Number, or name through their database. I know I spent an average of $1000.00 a month on groceries, medications, and clothes in that store for over three years.
About a month ago I purchased 3 pairs of the Levi Strauss jeans, Relax Fit, Carpenter style. I bought two for myself and one pair for a young man that helped me move and clean up the farm before I left Wilton.
On the first day of wearing his new pants the jeans ripped beside the rear pocket. We took the jeans back to the store but did not have the receipt as we had packed everything to move to our new home. I spoke first to customer service who said they would not replace the jeans without a receipt. I then spoke to their Assistant Manage who said the jeans looked older than a few days. They were very dirty as this kid and his wife used our washer and dryer to clean their clothes. As I said we had packed everything for our move. I then spoke to the Manager Bobby whom I have spoken to numerous times over the past couple of years so he knew my face. He said the pants looked older than a week, and refused to replace them without the receipt.
Now I understand people try to pull fast ones over on Wal-Mart all the time, but these are a $20.00 pair of jeans and not worth trying to scam anyone over. To a kid who rarely gets new clothes though they meant a lot. I tried to reason with Bobby but he walked away and would not discuss it.
Well Bobby, I moved to a city that is also surrounded by Target. Thanks to you I have come to realize that I have been putting all my eggs in one basket by doing all my shopping at Wal-Mart. It is time to spread the love and make Target my main go-to store for food, household, and clothes from here on out. You, Bobby are an idiot that chose to call an honest customer a liar, and you chose to lose a $1000.00 + a month customer over a $20.00 pair of jeans. I am sure you will go far in your corporate life and I am sure your bosses are proud to have an idiot like you in charge of their store.

We appreciate everything you guys have done to help us out. It was very unfortunate. Do to others... I'm sure Bobby wouldn't of wanted to be called a liar. And if someone who didn't know you called you a liar they don't truely know you and know that you are one of the most straight forward, to the point of brutally honest people I know. But for someone who has as much history with you to say such a thing is mind blowing. By losing you as a customer they have lost on average the salary of at least one of their corporate workers. Definately wal-marts mess up.
