Things to know: Chris had a very contentious relationship with his mother as a teenager. He left home at 13 and hitchhiked around the US for two years, all the while being truant from school. He was emancipated and married the first time at age 16. He quit school in the 8th grade yet went on to get both a BS and MS degrees. He managed several Color Tile and Radio Shack Stores. He taught himself electronics and had a successful Electronic Repair business for 8yrs. He joined the AL Dept of Corrections and was promoted to Sergeant at Holman Prison where he was a Shift Supervisor on AL Death-row/Segregation Unit. He had quadruple by-pass surgery on 11/2005. Complications from the surgery forced him to leave the Department in 2006. In Aug 2006, he started teaching 7th and 8th grade math. He enjoys learning new things. If he doesn't know how to do something, he will teach himself from, rebuilding engines, repairing electronics, sewing, computer programming and hardware repair. He has excelled in most of his endeavors. He graduated from College with Cum Laude Honors. Won a Trip to Maui as a Manager with Color Tile that had the highest yearly sales gain in his District. He was the Honor Graduate in his class from the ADOC academy in 2004, class of 2000-4.
Things Chris loves: God, Janit, His Country, Cooking, Traveling, Fishing and Animals. Chris has always had an unusual gift with animals especially horses (equines) and dogs. Chris is never without at least 2 dogs living in his home and they are, in his eyes, his children. He is kind yet blunt. He is described by others as being highly opinionated, yet intelligent.
